About This Position
Hiring a Native IELTS Instructor
edm Global Campus is part of the edm Education Group, one of Korea's leading overseas education consulting companies. Since 2000, more than 50,000 students have successfully achieved their study abroad goals through edm.
At edm Global Campus, we provide both online and offline IELTS preparation courses for Korean students, as well as Korean language courses for international learners. We also operate an official IELTS test venue in partnership with the British Council Korea.
Our IELTS team currently consists of six Korean instructors and two native English-speaking instructors, and we are looking for passionate educators who would like to grow with us.

1. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver IELTS Speaking classes (online and offline)
- Conduct one-on-one IELTS Speaking mock tests and provide detailed feedback
- Create and participate in IELTS-related YouTube content
- Provide IELTS Writing correction and feedback
- Counsel IELTS students regarding learning strategies and academic progress
- Develop IELTS teaching and learning materials
- Participate in online lecture production and content development
2. Qualifications
- Native English speaker currently residing in Korea
- Eligible for full-time employment in Korea (F-series visa holders preferred)
- Minimum one year of experience teaching English to adult learners in Korea
3. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in student counseling and academic advising
- Experience teaching students of various proficiency levels
- Previous full-time work experience in Korea
- IELTS teaching or test preparation experience preferred
4. Workplace
edm Global Campus
4th–6th Floors, Jace Tower, Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
(Approximately a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Gangnam Station)
5. Working Conditions
- Full-time position
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Approximately 25 teaching hours per week
- Includes one ~ two evening classes per week
- Enrollment in the four major Korean social insurance programs
- Retirement benefits (severance pay) provided in accordance with Korean labor law after one year of employment
- Annual paid leave in accordance with the Korean Labor Standards Act
- Salary will be discussed based on qualifications and experience during the interview process
